Seriously, if you asked me, would I take 1 million pounds or take the journey I started

on 3 years ago to get to where I am today, I would take the journey. 

Why? ARE YOU MAD?

I’ll tell you why. It’s a statistical fact that most lottery winners lose it all within a few years of obtaining their riches. Why? Because they’re mindset wasn’t ready for the shift that money could afford them. They haven’t been on that journey. 

So what is this journey I speak of?

It’s a journey where, no matter what you have been through, or how much you have survived, you make a choice. A choice, in this moment, to step into your power and choose a life that lights you the fuck up. 

Even when you don’t know how you might get there, you know you were made for more. 

More will look different to you and me. For you, it may look like travelling the world, for others it may look like having a beautiful home near their family and having the freedom to do what they want, when they want. For others, it may be realising a childhood dream that somehow fell sideward on the road to adulthood. 

You see the thing with dreams is that someone, somewhere is actually living them. Perhaps you dream of being a business owner, a fashion designer, helping people with the same trauma you have experienced and overcome, to work with children, a coach, a property developer, a digital nomad. For someone, this is already their reality.

Here is what they don’t tell you in school. 

What you chose at the age of SIXTEEN is NOT who you have to be forever. 

You are NEVER too old to start again. In fact do you realise how refreshing it would be to have an experienced person with a lifetime of EQ, IQ and wisdom under their belt instead of the usual cohort of spritely, yet completely clueless grads?

If they can do it, so can you. They, being ANYONE who EVER did it before. 

If you have never seen it done, then my gosh, please, I beg you, BE THE FIRST. Be the inspiration for future generations so they can see and witness it happening. Still not convinced? They now create t-shirts for girls saying I will be VP one day. Go figure. 

No matter where you are starting, you are not starting from scratch. You are starting with all the wisdom, experience and uniqueness that makes you you.

It all comes down to choice and any reason you believe you shouldn’t, or you can’t are your own limitations getting in your own way. This is normal, and natural, and part of the process of levelling up means facing your fears and learning to overcome them. 

Now, if you are sitting there thinking this all very well and good but I don’t know what I want, then that’s okay. Our feelings are feedback, and if you are aware that the life and career you currently lead doesn’t have you waking up every day feeling buzzed to get started, then that is your sign that something is amiss. 

The beauty of this transformation is that for many of us, nothing may change at all, except our own perception of life, and the way we love ourselves.

So here is my question to you. Be honest here.

Do you feel absolutely in love with your life?

Do you feel love, gratitude and awe cursing through your veins as you look around and see all that you have already created?

Finally, do you love yourself, do you accept all of who you are?

To fall in love with your self, because in order to create the life of your dreams, you must love who you are on that journey too. Flaws, mistakes, regrets and all.
